Turgo Turbine is a kind of impulse turbine suitable for head from 20 to 300 meters. An angle of 22.5o is formed between the center line of the nozzle and the rotational plane of runner. Turgo type is characterized not only by higher flow, even efficiency curve, but also by simple construction, reliable operation, easy maintenance and low cost.

(2) Efficiency
a. At rated head 140m, rated output 1624 kW, the guaranteed prototype turbine efficiency is no less than 84.5%, under the same operation condition the model turbine efficiency guaranteed value is no less than 84.5%.
b. Under all operation range, the prototype turbine max. efficiency guaranteed value is no less than 84.5%, model turbine max. efficiency guaranteed value is no less than 84.5%.

(3) Cavitations Erosion Guarantee
Within the warranty period, under the following condition, for 8000 hour operation, the turbine runner metal weight loss due to cavitations erosion will not exceed 0.25 kg.
Within the warranty period, under the following specified minimum output, for no more than 500 hour operation.
Within the warranty period, under the following specified maximum output, for no more than 50 hour operation.
(4) Regulation Guarantee
- At 140 m water head, 1624 KW output, when dump full load, the maximum speed rise will not exceed 50%.
- At 140 m water head, 1624 KW output, when dump full load, the maximum pressure rise at the spiral case will not exceed 50%.
